Daniel Weiss has served as lighting designer for numerous productions including fashion shows, plays, musicals, dance shows, operas, and countless smaller events. Through all this, he remains fascinated by every aspect of lighting from the design process to the execution to the final production. A senior at Emory University, Daniel’s interests go far beyond his applied physics major. Combining his love for arts and the outdoors, Daniel has traveled to four continents in the past two years, photographing his adventures in cities, through deserts, and across seas. His creativity is not limited to the stage or his camera; the same attention to detail, sense of space, and appreciation for visual appearance is manifest in the numerous websites he has designed in the past few years. When not engaged in all these activities, Daniel may be found singing in the University Chorus or sharing his passions and skills with others.

More samples of my work as a lighting designer are available on the Shows page.
